Community standards
Discuss ideas, projects, and disagreements without harassment, threats, doxxing, impersonation, spam, unsafe links, or deliberate disruption.
Context matters. Staff consider the content, surrounding discussion, prior relevant conduct, severity, and immediate safety risk before choosing an action.
Proportionate responses
Staff may clarify a rule, hide specific content, lock or archive a discussion, issue a notice or warning, or temporarily suspend forum participation. Severe or repeated harm may require immediate action.
Forum suspensions restrict participation while preserving public reading and safety-report access. They do not silently remove an account or hosted game.
Notice and records
Member-facing warnings and suspensions state the reason and timing. Acknowledging a warning records receipt, not agreement or admission.
Staff actions retain restricted audit evidence. Public transparency reports contain aggregate counts only and never publish private reports, usernames, reasons, or staff identities.
Suspension appeals
A member may submit one appeal for an active forum suspension from Forum Standing. Staff aim to review open appeals within the posted service target, but complex safety investigations may take longer.
Appeal reviewers may accept the appeal and restore participation or deny it and explain the member-visible outcome. An appeal never increases the original consequence.
Policy changes
Material policy changes receive a new version and effective date. Signed-in members can acknowledge the current version, while earlier acknowledgements remain in their private account record.
