Yaegar and Friends - Historical Merc Area Collection

Original yaegar.zip containing 43 .are files, areas.txt and a historical .org document. Includes cities, connector zones, fantasy adventures and pop-culture areas. Preserve the archive and its individual area credits unchanged.

License and permission warnings
The contributor section of areas.txt asks users to contact the individual authors for permission. Do not treat the entire collection as covered by one blanket grant. Some areas draw on third-party books, films, television, music and game settings. A bundled area also carries a third-party copyright notice. These rights require separate review before distribution approval.

Compatibility and content warnings
Some areas rely on AnonyMUD triggers, portals, race guilds and level ranges. Check VNUM collisions, exits, resets, balance and script behavior before integration. The collection includes violence, drug references and adult-oriented humor. It is not a complete runnable MUD.

Historical software warning
Mudhaven has not compiled, boot-tested or security-audited this material. Modern compiler and operating-system compatibility is unverified. Review the original notices before use.

Yaegar and the individual authors credited in each area. Contributors named in the collection include Aurorix, Rainman, Garth, Lenny, Cookie and Julilla. Preserve every area header and contributor notice, including Sandman’s credit for the original Dwarven Daycare material.
