SMAUG OLC Help Collection

About this resource

Original TAR.GZ and ZIP packages containing mobile, object, program, reset and room OLC help files.

Package
Original files: olchelp.tgz, olchelp.zip. Files are preserved byte-for-byte; source, documentation and notices have not been rewritten.

Credits
Herne the Hunter; SMAUG help contributors. Preserve all individual file, area and contributor notices in the originals.

License and attribution
The reviewed file does not establish a complete standalone redistribution license. Original attribution and any inherited DikuMUD, Merc or derivative requirements still need clearance. No blanket redistribution permission is inferred. Preserve every original notice and satisfy any referenced inherited terms. Licensing approval remains pending.

Compatibility and safety warnings
Match help format and command behavior to the target SMAUG version. Both original containers have identical member contents. Historical material supplied unchanged. Not compiled, boot-tested or security-audited by Mudhaven. Compatibility with modern compilers, operating systems and game variants is unverified. Review and test in isolation before use; no malware-free guarantee is made.

A download checksum confirms file integrity, not security or runtime compatibility. Review the source and included documentation before running unfamiliar software.

Attribution stays with the work.
