Original sillyold.tar.gz. Its README identifies SillyMUD Server Version 1.1b and describes AT&T System V Release 3 build assumptions and terminal-based world editing.

License warning
The included SillyMUD license permits free source distribution subject to preserving copyright and license notices, prohibits distribution revenue, and requires SillyMUD/DikuMUD identification, version information and intact credits for running games. However, the required credits file is absent. No separate original DikuMUD license document was found; inherited terms remain to be checked. Do not treat the package as complete licensing evidence or add replacement files to it. The VT100 header identifies Dan Brumleve and says it was used with permission for SillyMUD; BSD source carries additional conditions. Redistribution approval remains unresolved.

Compatibility and runtime warnings
The examined player and board placeholders are empty; this is not a complete privacy audit. The archive contains distinct trailing-dot world filenames, which can collide or be renamed on Windows extraction. Preserve these bytes without extracting them into the hosting environment. Historical compiler, memory and terminal assumptions may require porting.
