Preserve the original Diku/Merc notices, noncommercial restrictions, notification requirements, and required login/help credits. ROM terms and contributor notices also apply; preserve ROM login/help attribution and derivative naming restrictions. Included IMC2 Freedom and strlcpy/strlcat notices impose additional attribution/distribution conditions.

Compatibility and security warnings

Historical C server variants. These five archives have different complete member hashes; do not merge merely because their names resemble each other. Modern compilation and runtime compatibility untested.

Historical code and binaries have not been compiled, executed, or security-audited. Archive inspection is not malware clearance. Bundled runtime data, defaults and credentials must be reviewed before use. Original bytes and notices are unchanged. Upload acceptance is not redistribution permission.

A download checksum confirms file integrity, not security or runtime compatibility. Review the source and included documentation before running unfamiliar software.

Attribution stays with the work.
