Merc MOBProgram Patch
Historical NPC scripting patch for Merc with C integration files, trigger documentation, installation notes, and example program and area data.
About this resource
Historical Merc NPC scripting integration package containing 11 members, including mob_commands.c, mob_prog.c, mprog_add_to_db.c, installation and trigger documentation, Beggar.prg, and Example.are. This is a patch requiring manual integration, not a complete game server. It is distinct from the CircleMUD MOBProg package. License and attribution The informal statement about copyright in DOC does not remove the Diku and Merc license requirements present in source headers. This package is not represented as public-domain software. Preserve original notices and applicable contributor terms. Review the referenced Diku and Merc licenses before use or redistribution. Compatibility and security warnings Only trusted staff should author NPC programs. Back up world files and source before integration and testing. Mudhaven has not compiled, boot-tested, or security-audited this material. Modern compiler and operating-system compatibility is unverified. Historical contact details may no longer work.
Compatibility
Historical Merc-derived C source. Manual integration required. Modern compiler and OS compatibility unverified.
A download checksum confirms file integrity, not security or runtime compatibility. Review the source and included documentation before running unfamiliar software.
