About this resource

Original copyover.v1. Saves player descriptor information and restarts the game. Inspired by discussion of Fusion’s MUD++, without using its code.

License and attribution
Retain Erwin S. Andreasen’s name in the files and comply with the author notification requirement in the original notice and accompanying License. Preserve applicable inherited DikuMUD and Merc terms. Historical contact addresses may no longer work. These are not unrestricted-use or public-domain sources.

Compatibility warning
This still resets the world. Corpses and dropped weapons may disappear and aggressive monsters return. Review executable paths, open descriptors, output flushing, growing logs and ROM pet restoration. The author asks users to notify him, credit him in the help entry and review his other improvements as described in the original.

Historical software warning
Mudhaven has not compiled, boot-tested or security-audited this material. Modern compiler and operating-system compatibility is unverified. Back up data and review the source before integration.

A download checksum confirms file integrity, not security or runtime compatibility. Review the source and included documentation before running unfamiliar software.
