Merc and Envy Multiple Bulletin Boards - Erwin Version 1

Original board-1.zip containing board.c, board.h, nanny.txt, readme.txt and help.txt. Adds multiple bulletin boards in place of the older single note list. This is historical Version 1, not the newer Version 2 release.

License and attribution
The documentation and source require retaining Erwin’s name and notifying him by email when using the code. Source headers also require compliance with the referenced DikuMUD and Merc licenses. Preserve all notices. Historical email addresses may no longer work.

Compatibility and operational warnings
Requires changes to note handling, connection states and character save data. Uses historical color codes. The documentation describes small note buffers and coordinated changes needed if their limits are increased. Back up existing notes and player data. Review board read/write permissions, storage paths and connection cleanup behavior.

Historical software warning
Mudhaven has not compiled, boot-tested or security-audited this material. Modern compiler and operating-system compatibility is unverified. Review the original notices before use.
