Historical March 1996 Amiga AmiTCP port of Merc 2.2, containing the server binary, startup script, shell tools archive and port README.
About this resource
Historical March 1996 Amiga AmiTCP port of Merc 2.2, containing the server binary, startup script, shell tools archive and port README. License and attribution Inherited Merc and DikuMUD terms require review. Readme.amiga identifies the port author but is not a complete redistribution grant. The outer LHA contains no separately named full license document. Nested shell-tool terms remain unresolved. Preserve all original notices unchanged; archive availability is not permission evidence. Compatibility and security warnings Legacy Amiga executable, not server source. The README describes AmiTCP 4.0, a 68030 with FPU and Workbench 3.1. Modern compatibility is unverified. The original includes startup-AmigaTCP and nested shelltools.lha. Outer decompression and CRC checks passed offline, but complete nested-content/security review is not finished. A separate privacy/security hold blocks release. Do not execute or extract on production. No malware-free claim is made.
Compatibility
Classic Amiga, AmiTCP 4.0, 68030 with FPU and Workbench 3.1. Legacy binary; modern compatibility unverified.
A download checksum confirms file integrity, not security or runtime compatibility. Review the source and included documentation before running unfamiliar software.
Attribution stays with the work.
License
