Preserve individual-file exceptions and warranty disclaimers. These are not Diku/Circle codebases.

Compatibility and security warnings

ColdC core source and networking foundation, not a complete standalone game or included driver. Old coldcc/Genesis dependency, changing dump syntax/build layout, default listener port 1138 and unaudited initialization/network interfaces. Early Makefiles invoke ../genesis; later makedb overwrites textdump. All four passed gzip/TAR inspection; eight regular files apiece, no unsafe paths, links, nested archives or detected PE/ELF binaries.

Original bytes and included notices are preserved. Not compiled, executed, boot-tested or comprehensively security-audited. Historical contacts may no longer work. Upload validation is not malware clearance or redistribution approval.

A download checksum confirms file integrity, not security or runtime compatibility. Review the source and included documentation before running unfamiliar software.
