Historical AberMUD 5.30.0 engine and client package with source and associated database material. Credits and licensing COPYING states that the system and original game database were placed under the GPL on 3 December 1996 and includes GPL v2. It expressly excludes the command-line-editing client because it includes third-party material. TEXT/Credits retains an older restrictive game-database notice. Keep both notices and review their respective scope; the complete bundle is not uniformly GPL-cleared. Compatibility and security warnings Historical Unix/curses dependencies and database-format assumptions may require porting. Client components have separate provenance and terms. No modern build, boot or security test was performed. Original bytes and included notices are preserved. Archive integrity checks are not a malware clearance or comprehensive security audit. Mudhaven has not compiled or boot-tested this historical package.
